COMPLETE CLUTCH RELEASE SYSTEM UPGRADE (HYB-CMC-01-13)

This kit replaces all clutch release components—master cylinder, slave cylinder, and clutch line—to deliver a direct, reliable clutch pedal feel in your installations. Factory clutch master cylinders in newer vehicles are prone to reliability issues due to design and quality, which can lead to premature failures in drivetrain components.

High RPM shifts are often affected by the OE master cylinder's ability to transfer fluid to the slave cylinder, causing grinding and rasping as the clutch disengages. Upgrading to this kit provides a more direct, efficient hydraulic path, resulting in a consistent pedal feel and improved shifting at higher RPMs.

CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER

We use OEM-quality parts. This OE JDM slave cylinder is compatible with all 01-15 Honda K-Series transmissions and does NOT include a clutch delay valve or dampener. Clutch delay valves reduce driveline shock but may slow response and contribute to missed or locked shifts, potentially damaging gears or synchros.

Installation notes

Review installation instructions to understand the steps required to fix gear-change issues. Consider upgrading your shifter cables or cable bushings for an even more direct gear change in your installs.

Important limitations

This kit will not repair a broken or damaged transmission. Note: Some modifications to the part may be necessary to install based on the application.

Fluid and maintenance recommendations

Recommend using OEM Honda MTF in manual transmissions. Use DOT4 or high-temperature brake fluid in the clutch fluid system and change the fluid at regular service intervals (for example, with brake-fluid service or when the fluid becomes cloudy).
