Hybrid Racing shifter cables (SKU HYB-SCA-01-13) provide a direct OEM replacement upgrade for stock cables, delivering a firmer, more connected shift feel in your installs and for your customers' daily driving or track use.

Key construction features include solid rod ends, permanently lubricated core, spherical bearings, and aluminum end links, contributing to reduced missed shifts and a more precise connection to the chassis. The cable is heat resistant up to 225°F and has a maximum bend radius of 5 inches to maximize life under demanding use.

Additional durability comes from spherical bearings, stainless steel push rods, and upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes (the OEM uses plastic and that portion is a common failure point). All rod ends and mounting bushings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum, black anodized and laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo, reflecting engineering and quality verification for your shoppers.

Are these cables a direct replacement for OEM shifter cables? Yes. The aluminum bushings simplify installation and reduce plastic flex that can contribute to a sloppy shift. You will transfer all OEM grommets, seals, or brackets to the Hybrid Racing cables prior to installation.

What is included with the kit? The package contains two shifter cables, each with two cotter pins and clips for the shifter end. You will reuse your OEM center bracket and cable seal.

Application notes: These cables are designed specifically for the 2003 Acura CL Type-S using the J32A2 engine and transmission. They may work on engine-swapped cars, but fitment can vary depending on engine and shifter layout. Verify compatibility as part of your stocking and service decisions.
